After completing his compulsory schooling in Geneva, Grégoire obtained a degree in economics and business administration with a double major in finance at Bryant University (Rhode Island, USA) in 1998. He then joined HSBC Bank USA in New York as a risk analyst, moving in 1999 to HSBC Private Bank. There he held the roles of vice president, head of European desk. During this time, he obtained his CPM (certified portfolio manager) degree at New York University and passed the NASD series 7, 63, and 65 exams. Grégoire then returned to Geneva in 2004, where he developed and managed a portfolio of private clients for HSBC Private Bank. He became director in 2008.
Grégoire left the bank to join Semper as a partner and in 2009 was nominated to CEO and managing partner. He is now managing partner at Bruellan S.A.
