FINMA is Switzerland’s financial market supervisory authority. Its role is to supervise banks, insurance companies, stock exchanges, securities dealers, collective investment schemes
and their fund managers and directors, as well as insurance distributors and intermediaries.

FINMA’s mission is to protect creditors, investors and policyholders and to ensure the smooth functioning of Switzerland’s financial markets.
