As such, our investment teams incorporate analysis of environmental, social and governance (<em>ESG<\/em>) risks within the investment process, in line with Bruellan&#8217;s values.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">To implement our philosophy, we combine various responsible investment methodologies throughout our investment process.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our methodology<\/h2>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>ESG filters<\/em> (based on international standards, sector restrictions and worst-in-class exclusions) are applied to remove certain companies from the investable universe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>ESG factors are then integrated<\/em> into the analytical process and investment decisions. In doing so, we adopt the definition provided by the <strong>UN Principles for Responsible Investment<\/strong> &#8211; i.e. &#8220;the explicit and systematic incorporation of ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making&#8221;. This means that, in strict compliance with Bruellan&#8217;s investment process, our teams carry out an analysis of financial and ESG indicators, so as to identify the significant risk factors associated with each investment case. Once these factors have been identified, our teams assess their potential impact on the company&#8217;s performance and factor this fundamental analysis into their investment decisions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover alignfull is-light\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-cover__background has-vert-clair-background-color has-background-dim-100 has-background-dim\"><\/span><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-cover-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-vert-color has-text-color\">A responsible and committed attitude<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vert-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">To extend deployment of our sustainable investment philosophy, and with the aim of better protecting and enhancing the value of client assets entrusted to us, we engage in responsible and committed management.
